You'll be able to enjoy a hotdog, a drink, and a dessert if you make a donation to the Hot Dogs for MS Fundraiser in the Woodstock Sobeys Plaza this Saturday.
WOODSTOCK - The Sobeys Plaza in Woodstock is about to host the 2nd Annual Hot Dogs or MS Fundraiser.
Organizer Melissa Marissink and her husband have been raising money for the cause since 2015, participating in the MS Bike ride from Grand Bend to London. After her MS diagnosis in 2021, Marissink found herself now reliant on a wheelchair, and unable to fundraise like before decided to try a new fundraising tactic.
The fundraising event is taking place this Saturday at 379 Springbank Ave, and the BBQ heats up at 11:00 a.m. for hungry visitors.
Menu items are for sale for any donation amount and will include a variety of drinks and desserts and of course hot dogs. Everything should wrap up by 2:00 p.m.
Last year, they raised over $1000.00 for the cause, and they are hoping to raise more during this year's event. You can make a donation online here.
