The store is replacing the old Hudson's Bay store at White Oaks Mall.
LONDON - IKEA is launching a new store in the Forest City!
It will be in the vacant Hudson's Bay store located at White Oaks Mall. It will be a smaller location, but it is designed to make affordable and functional home furnishings.
By being a smaller store, it is faster and more cost-efficient to run. These smaller-sized stores are enabling the company to open more stores in more communities as well.
The new store will have 43,000 square feet (about one-fifth of the IKEA location in Burlington) with more than 2,000 home essentials, inspiring room settings and smart solutions, flexible delivery and pickup options, knowledgeable employees offering simple planning service, and a selection of the famous IKEA food.
This will be the second IKEA store in London, as in March 2024, they opened a plan and order point, which is where customers have the availability to book one-on-one appointments with experts to plan, design, and purchase furnishing solutions for any room.
