IKEA has recalled mattresses for Vyssa-style cribs due to risk of entrapment.
IKEA is recalling 169,000 baby-crib mattresses in both Canada and the United States after receiving two reports of infants being injured after they became trapped between the mattress and end panels of the crib.
The recall was announced Thursday morning by the Swedish-based furniture retailer who say the mattresses were too short for the crib, posing a risk of entrapment.
The recall applies to mattresses used for Ikea's Vyssa-style cribs, including the models Vacker, Vinka, Spelevink, Sloa and Slummer.
