A nightmare scenario for parents played out in Delhi after a four month old infant was accidentally locked inside a car.
DELHI - A scary scene in Delhi after a four month old infant was accidentally locked inside a car.
Officers arrived on the scene quickly after getting the call on Wednesday night. A tow truck driver was able to open the door and the infant was reunited with their mother. The infant was not injured and there were no safety concerns as a result of this incident.
Constable Ed Sanchuk says this incident could have been much worst.
"The OPP would like to thank everyone that assisted in bringing this incident to a successful conclusion. We were able to arrive and quickly deal with the situation and have the vehicle unlocked. The mother was extremely relieved and very thankful."
