The Town of Ingersolls arena is facing a shortage in ice time as two teams are looking to use their already packed facilities.
INGERSOLL - It's a battle for ice time at Ingersoll's upcoming council meeting.
Every year, regular ice user groups are asked to submit their ice time requests before the upcoming season but this year two new groups have put in requests.
The West Oxford Inferno girl's Hockey are former occupants of the Ingersoll rink but are looking to make a comeback requesting two 60 to 90-minute time slots during the week.
However, the Woodstock Wildcats are requesting a total of four hours worth of ice time during the week.
Their argument is there are 72 girls from the town of Ingersoll registered making up 5 teams worth of players.
Town of Ingersoll Mayor, Brian Petrie's official comment on tonight's delegations.
"There is only so much ice that's available regardless of the amount of users. We have at this point 6 delegations coming forward to help us make that decision. All of council has put a lot of thought into this, so where we're gonna go with this I don't know."
The council meeting takes place tonight at 6:00 pm the link to the live stream can be found here.
