Trouble in Turkey Point has a prominent Ingersoll resident facing an impaired boating charge. 41-year-old Troy McClay was arrested by OPP's Marine Unit, off Turkey Point on the Canada Day long weekend. Police were called to the Turkey Point Marina at around 4:30 Saturday afternoon. They were following up on an incident reported at the Turkey Point Pier 67 Restaurant. Officers arrived and located a vessel leaving the Marina. After investigating, they charged Troy McClay with operating a vessel over the legal limit. McClay is co-owner of McClay's Transportation and is Past President of the Ingersoll Chamber of Commerce.
