INGERSOLL - Ingersoll Town Council will discuss the possibility of resuming in-person meetings.
During tonight's virtual meeting, council will look over a report from staff which outlines the safety measures that will be in effect once in-person meetings resume.
Only council and staff members will be allowed in Council Chambers at first and all of the seating will be staggered.
Everyone in the meeting will have to wear a mask unless they have the floor. They will be required to remove their mask while they're speaking so people who are hearing impaired will be able to read their lips.
Members of the public will continue to watch the meetings online and all delegations will be conducted over Zoom.
Tonight's virtual meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and you'll be able to live stream it online here.
UPDATE: Ingersoll Town Council has decided against moving forward with in-person council meetings at this time.
