Highlights for the June 6th city council meeting include a new spray pad, a certificate presentation, and an update on the boundary adjustment.
WOODSTOCK - There was a lot discussed at the most recent city council meeting.
A new spray pad and playground were approved to be built at the community complex on Finkle Street between Parkinson road and the sports field parking lot. Construction is slated to begin in August and it will be replacing the current wading pool and spray pad at Southside Aquatic.
An update for the boundary adjustment was delivered saying all that's been approved is the proposal and the next step is to select a date for the public meeting and send out invites to the properties in and around the adjustment.
And finally, Nathan Friend was presented with a certificate and prize for his Sister Cities logo. The contest was open to both Woodstock and Sylvania Ohio with a jury made of people from both cities who selected Nathan's design.
