Tillsonbugger Adventures is a book series geared towards children aged 7 to 11.
TILLSONBURG - A new kids book series will be set in the Town of Tillsonburg.
Author Fernenda Lazzaro shares what the first book is about.
"So it's about three kids who encounter a swarm of bees, though they don't know it's technically called a swarm. And they go through a series of adventures to figure out how to save the bees."
Lazzaro says she chose Tillsonburg as the setting because of the name.
"You know I've never actually been to Tillsonburg before writing the story. I just loved the name of Tillsonburg. So as I was writing the into, I was trying to make up a name of a town, but this just came out. It was like 'Oh, Tillsonburg has such a nice ring to it'."
The second book of the series is expected to be released next Summer and is called "The Case of the Missing Moustache".
The books series is written for kids aged 7 through 11.
