Dozens of police officers that spent countless hours on the Tori Stafford murder investigation are also expressing relief following Michael Rafferty's conviction. Woodstock Police Inspector Bill Renton, who started the investigation 3-years-ago as an OPP Detective, says there was always one focus over the long hours in this case. "Our thoughts and prayers are clearly with Tori's family and friends, that they may garner the inner strength to move forward in the memory of their beautiful child. Tori was truly our inspiration as we moved through the past 3-years." Police did not answer questions, citing caution of the 30-day appeal period Rafferty has of his conviction. A further news conference will be held Saturday with Woodstock Police Chief Rod Freeman and Mayor Pat Sobeski. Keep tuned to Heart FM for further details and reaction to the story.
