An adorable trend has started in Woodstock with kids holding lemonade stands for charity. The most recent one netted over $400 for Simba's Cat and Kitten Rescue.
WOODSTOCK - Three girls from Woodstock raised $420 for Simba's Cat and Kitten Rescue on Friday.
Bryn, Taylor and Amelia were selling the drinks on Frontenac Crescent. Hot and humid conditions on Friday helped drive up the sales. All funds will go towards the cat and kitten rescue. The girls also managed to keep the event safe with COVID-19 protocols in place. They even managed to create and in and out line, using sidewalk chalk.

This could be the start of an adorable trend in Woodstock. Last week 9 year old Abigail Taylor raised over $200 for the Woodstock Hospital with her lemonade stand on Frances Street.
