London's Mayor could be in some hot water. Joe Fontana is the source of a reported RCMP investigation, according to the London Free Press. They say when Fontana was a London MP and Labour Minister, a cheque for $1700 from the Federal Public Works Department showed up at the Marconi Club. The Free Press has obtained the stub for that cheque, and believe there are others, totalling around $20,000. The cheque was to cover money owed to the club for Fontana's son's wedding, in 2005. Fontana took to CTV in London last night, saying he "knows nothing" about the cheques. Click here for more on the story.
