Ingersoll will play host to the first debate between the Ontario Liberal leadership hopefuls. Although a location has not been announced, it has been revealed that the debate will happen in the town December 1st at 1 pm. Other debates will be held in Thunder Bay, Ottawa, Ajax and Toronto. There are seven candidates in the running for the position; Eric Hoskins, Gerard Kennedy, Glen Murray, Sandra Pupatello, Charles Sousa, Harinder Takhar and Kathleen Wynne. The debates will lead up to the vote January 12th and 13th, as well as the Leadership Convention being hosted in Toronto January 25-27th. The five debates are restricted to party members only.
