The community of Ingersoll will light up their love this weekend.
INGERSOLL - Let your love shine this weekend in Ingersoll.
The Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll will be hosting their annual fundraiser this Sunday November 18, where two Christmas trees are lit up in front of the building in honour of loved ones. Lights can be lit for a donation of 10, $50 or $1,000 stars available.
The event is open to the public and it will begin at 6:30pm. Executive Director of the Alexandra Hospital Foundation Robin Schultz says they will be lighting up two trees on Sunday night.
"One is the Canon Griffin tree, it is strictly a memorial tree and the bulbs are $50 and it's all white because it is in memory of people. The other tree is the Dynes Commemorative Tree and it is white lights and coloured lights and people can donate $10 for a light bulb in memory or honour of a loved one."
Executive Director of the Alexandra Hospital Foundation Robin Schultz says it is free to attend the light ceremony happening at 6:30 p.m this Sunday in front of the hospital.
"They have a chance to see the trees lit up and feel sense of community, knowing that all of the donations will go towards helping us fund new hospital equipment."
