Lightning damaged electrical equipment at Lake Lisgar Waterpark yesterday.
TILLSONBURG - A lightning strike forced the closure of Lake Lisgar Waterpark in Tillsonburg.
The Town announced yesterday that lightning had damaged essential electrical equipment at the waterpark, including the circulation pump. It said necessary repairs had to be made before the park could reopen, and there was no timeline as to when this work should be done yet.
All scheduled programs, swims, and swimming lessons were cancelled for the time being.
No further details have been released.
