Eric Schmiedl has published his third book in the Realities fantasy fiction trilogy series and he's going to donate a portion of the book proceeds to Operation Sharing.
WODOSTOCK - A Woodstock author has launched the third book in the fantasy fiction trilogy series Realities.
The new book is called Realities: Continental War and was written by Eric Schmiedl, who is also the Director of Print Media for Operation Sharing.
Schmiedl explains how he came up with the idea for the books.
“I came up with the idea for the trilogy from a waking dream."
The book is a tale of good versus evil with spiritual overtones. On the evil side is Illyad (a time-traveller on the distant planet Valleria who doesn’t see himself as evil) who ruthlessly wields his abilities in his quest for absolute power. Forces of good rise up against him at various points in history on Valleria.
Schmiedl is also the author of the previously published memoirs Don Quixote Versus the Devil and South Korean Mania, which dealt with his bipolar disorder misadventures. In addition, he is a former long-time reporter with the Sentinel-Review.
You can purchase the books through Apple, Amazon, Kobo and Barnes and Noble.
A portion of the proceeds will go to Operation Sharing.
