Canada's Outdoor Farm Show is back in Woodstock. The Director, Doug Wagner was celebrated to open the event, as a road on the grounds was renamed Doug Wagner Way.
WOODSTOCK - Another year of Canada's Outdoor Farm Show is here.
The festivities got underway this morning (Tuesday, September 12th) as a street renaming took place.
Director of the Show, Doug Wagner was honoured with his name being placed on the road on the grounds where the show takes place.
Wagner says that he is excited to see Doug Wagner Way unveiled.
"At the little farm show that grew, now I have my name on something, which that was never really on my bucket list, but now I can add it to it now. So, I am pretty proud and pretty pleased."
He adds the honour is something that he wasn't expecting, but will cherish it forever.
"I've been coming to Woodstock, I think my first big event we did here was 1988, you do the math and that is quite a few years. I love this property."
He mentions that this is the 45th Farm Show he has organized and it has always been a team effort.
The Farm Show will run until Thursday, September 14th, and will have over 2-hundred exhibits for people to enjoy.
