Lion's Pool needs a redevelopment and the Southside Aquatic Centre can benefit from bigger change rooms.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock's Parks and Rec Department is working on a budget to bring back to City Council.
Director Brian Connors says they are going to price out a redevelopment for Lion's Pool.
"That would mean keeping Lion's Pool where it is and just redeveloping the base and the pipes, putting in an accessible ramp; that type of development."
Connors says a boost in their swim programs at Southside Aquatic Centre means they will also consider a change room expansion there.
"They've grown over 77 percent in the last five years and it's really starting to become difficult to get people changed in a smaller space."
Connors adds that project will be put on the back burner.
"It will probably be in about four or five years and that's also if lessons continue to expand the way they have been."
