The first 150 customers who attend Local Roots in the Park’s grand opening tomorrow will receive a free Wrangler Burger!
The concession stand serves delicious locally sourced food to paying customers. All of the proceeds raised also benefit South Gate Centre programs.
Operations Manager Felise Jones says the food booth was a huge hit in its first year.
"Last year was a great success and we're looking forward to another successful year. The reception that we got was overwhelming and more than we ever expected!"
Local Roots in the Park will have its grand opening tomorrow from 11am to 7pm. The first 150 customers will receive a free Wrangler Burger!
Jones tells Heart FM about a new item they have added to the menu this year.
"It's basically our family Chris's Deluxe Chicken Sandwich but we've deconstructed it, put in a bowl and its being very well received."
