Community Employment Services Oxford has lots of jobs available for kids.
OXFORD - If your kids are looking for a summer job, there may be a solution.
Community Employment Services Oxford continues to have summer jobs for kids come in.
These jobs range from full time, to part time.
Lis Wismer-Van Meer, Communication Assistant says there are also one-off jobs available.
"We continue to have jobs coming in from local employers, but we also have a lot of community members that are contacting us saying I need someone to cut my grass, I need someone to do some yard work, painting, whatever it might be. Those are great one-off jobs that are popping up."
You can talk to anyone at the student center Monday to Friday for more information.
Wismer-Van Meer says that the youth job connection summer program is returning.
"That's a program for youth 15 to 18 who might face some employment barriers. This is job ready training and you get paid for the hours that you are getting trained in our program. There is work placement afterwards. So it's a great opportunity, especially for those youth that do face some employment barriers."
