Local MP Dave MacKenzie is calling out Justin Trudeau for breaking another promise and sending Canadians to the polls during the 4th wave of COVID-19.
OXFORD COUNTY - Local Conservative MP Dave MacKenzie is calling out Justin Trudeau for breaking another promise.
MacKenzie says Trudeau is forcing Canadians to the polls during the middle of the 4th wave of COVID-19.
"Trudeau claims his government can not get any work done, when in reality, this parliament has been one of our most cooperative in recent history. We worked together to pass legislation that helped thousands of Canadians during the pandemic. Now, as a possible fourth wave is ahead of us, he wants make Canadians go to the polls and give him a majority government. Trudeau and the Liberals can not be trusted to guide Canadians out of this pandemic."
Mackenzie has not officially announced he is seeking re-election, we will be contacting him this morning. However it appears he is getting ready to hit the campaign trail. On Sunday, he paid a visit to retired police officer Bob Parsons for his 90th birthday. Parsons spent his entire policing career with the OPP based out of Tillsonburg.
