Police say the 37 year old man damaged the woman's property and killed her guinea pig as well.
ST.THOMAS - A 37 year old man has been arrested and charged after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and killing her guinea pig.
The domestic incident happened over the weekend in St.Thomas, with few details being released.
So far, the investigation revealed the man also damaged the woman's property.
The accused's identity has not been released. He was arrested Sunday afternoon and is facing the following charges; assault, killing an animal, mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, and three counts of breaching his release conditions.
