Saskatchewan RCMP have charged a 29 year old Calgary man in relation to the Humboldt Broncos bus crash.
CALGARY - Charges have been laid against the truck driver in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash.
The collision between a bus and the semi trailer on April 6th claimed the lives of 16 junior hockey players.
Saskatchewan RCMP held a press conference to announce the charges laid against 29 year old Jaskirat Sidhu of Calgary.
Assistant Commissioner Curtis Zablocki addressed reporters this afternoon.
"Mr. Sidhu was arrested without incident at his Calgary residence and currently faces the following charges; 16 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and 13 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily injury."
Sidhu will appear in Saskatchewan Provincial Court next week.
