Woodstock Mayor Trevor Birtch answered to the assault charges laid against him in two separate London Police investigations this morning.
UPDATE: Trevor Birtch's court case has been adjourned to August 22nd, for the purpose of reviewing disclosure and instructions.
The Woodstock Mayor did not appear on camera this morning, but his lawyer James Battin did confirm that he was sitting in the same room as him during the proceedings.
This was Birtch's third court appearance for the charges laid against him in February and his first appearance for the charges laid against him in April. A publication ban was issued for the April charges today, protecting any information that could identify the victim or a witness. A publication ban was also issued for the charges laid in February, during Birtch's first court appearance in early May.
