Not a good start for Norwich in round two of the Midwestern Jr C playoffs
All four teams hit the ice Thursday night for round two of the Midwestern Jr C Hockey playoffs.
Norwich were on the road, in Paris to face-off against the first place Mounties. The Merchants couldn't keep up with the league leaders, losing 4-2. Paris travel to Norwich Friday night for game two. Puck drops at 8:00 pm.
The Centennials and Firebirds met up in Ayr for game one. New Hamburg dominated, clobbering Ayr 6-0. The two are back in action tonight in New Hamburg for a 7:30 pm game time.
The Thamesford Trojans' round two playoffs get underway Friday in the Southern Ontario Junior C League. Thamesford host the Dorchester Dolphins for game one tonight at 7:30 pm.
