It is a long list of charges that a 29-year-old Woodstock man is facing after multiple police agencies conducted an investigation.
NOVA SCOTIA/WOODSTOCK - A Woodstock man is in trouble with police in Nova Scotia.
An investigation began in 2022 after the West Hants RCMP responded to a report that a youth had received concerning messages and sexually explicit material from an unknown person through a social media platform. The 29-year-old was first taken into custody in August this year, and went to court for charges of Luring a Child, Indecent Communications and Transmit Sexually Explicit Material to a Child.
Then, on December 11th, he was handed additional charges, including 30 counts of Luring a Child, 8 counts of Making Sexually Explicit Material Available to a Child, two counts of Indecent Communications, two counts of Making Child Pornography, and one count each of Possessing Child Pornography, Accessing Child Pornography, and Making Child Pornography Available.
The offences are said to involve 30 victims, who were all youth at the time. He is due back in Kentville Provincial Court on January 6th.
