Police say Four people are dead and a 9 year old child is the only survivor after a 20 year old man purposely ran down a Muslim family of 5 in London.
LONDON - A Muslim family of five were targeted in a targeted attack in London on Monday evening.
Police have a suspect in custody, 20 year old Nathanial Veltman of London. He has been charged with four counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. Terrorism charges are also possible against Veltman.
Police say the pedestrians were struck at the intersection of Hyde Park and South Carriage Roads around 8:40 on Sunday evening.
The deceased include a 74 year old woman, a 46 year old man, a 44 year old woman and a 15 year old girl. A nine year old boy is the only survivor in the attack and is currently in the hospital with serious injuries.
Several politicians have gone online to condemn the attack, including Ontario Premier Doug Ford.

London Mayor Ed Holder says this "This was an act of mass murder," targeting Muslims and Londoners. Opposition NDP leader Andrea Horwath also condemned the attack on social media.
