Jake Muzzin signs a 5 year, $20 million contract extension with the LA Kings
LOS ANGELES - Woodstock native Jake Muzzin will remain in a Los Angeles Kings jersey through to the 2019-20 season.
The 25 year old defenceman signed a five year, $20 million contract extension with the team.
Despite the announcement, the six foot three, 216 pound player has yet to play a game with the Kings this season due to injury.
During the 2014 Stanley Cup run, Muzzin played all 26 games and registered 12 points.
It is said the entire negotiation process took about three weeks.
