The Navy Cadets look back at a proud year as they prepare for the Battle of the Atlantic
WOODSTOCK - With the Battle of the Atlantic coming up, the Woodstock Navy Cadets are proud of the year they have had.
Their highlight is a gold medal for the Unicorns at provincials on April 14th, the 1st gold medal won by them in 23 years.
Maggie Castles, Chief petty officer, 2nd class of the Woodstock Navy Cadets says that she enjoys everything to do with the Navy Cadets.
"I enjoy the officers drill, I basically enjoy everything."
The Unicorns meet up every Sunday and Monday at the ship to prepare for their competitions and demonstrations.
The Navy Cadets is a volunteer run organization.
