The Navy Vets will be going head to head with the Burford Bulldogs in their Breast Cancer Awareness game.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Navy Vets will honour Breast Cancer Awareness Month this Friday night against Burford.
Woodstock will be donning pink jerseys for the game and the boys will have some pink tape on their sticks as well. President Devon Young tells Heart FM they will also be raising some money for the Canadian Cancer Society.
"We will have donation buckets at the game and just by showing up you are donating because we are going to donate $1 for every person in attendance. It's a great cause, we enjoy helping the community, it's important to us and it is important to a lot of people in our community so hopefully everybody can jump in and help out."
The Navy Vets are hoping to improve their 2 - 1 record with a win over the Bulldogs tonight.
Puck drops at 7:45.
