Dundas Street in Woodstock will see plenty of cars on hand for this year's Streetfest Cruise. The event is being hosted by South Gate Centre, with all proceeds going towards the seniors center.
WOODSTOCK - The Streetfest Cruise is happening next month.
Different cars, motorcycles and trucks will drive in to Dundas Street.
Executive Director of the South Gate Centre Chris Cunningham says all kinds of vehicles are welcome.
"We are lining Dundas Street from Vansittart Ave all the way down to Victoria Street, both sides even side streets, it's definitely something you need to come on out and check it out."
Cunningham says the cars can be registered on the morning of the event. She says there is a registration fee of $10.00.
The event is being put on by the South Gate Centre, with all proceeds going towards the senior's center.
She says there is a lot to do and see.
"We are looking forward to 300-400 cruisers showing up on Dundas Street and lining those streets. Thousands of pedestrians will show up that day, also. Everyone is welcome. It costs nothing to come out and check out all the cars and take advantage of our beautiful downtown, we will also have some other vendors there."
Cunningham says last year's Streetfest Cruise even saw monster trucks in attendance. The event will have a DJ, prizes and she says it will also include a 50/50 draw.
It goes on August 11th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
