Amanda Nelson ran 56 yards and was the last female standing at the World Backyard Ultra Championships.
BRITISH COLUMBIA - A Woodstonian was the last woman standing at the World Backyard Ultra Championships.
Amanda Nelson finished the race with 56 yards in British Columbia yesterday. A post on the GrassRoots Racing Facebook page says she ran over 369 kilometres by the end of the day.
She secured her spot in the national race after finishing first in the Persistence Backyard Ultra in London this summer. Nelson ran 33 yards and just over 221 kilometres in that race.
We have reached out to Nelson so she can tell us all about the World Championships.
