The system controls the heating and air conditioning.
Mayor Ted Comiskey says the temperatures have been quite warm inside the building lately.
"What we've had over the last week believe it or not is 32 degrees temperatures inside Town Hall. It's been tough to work and it's been kind of a situation."
Comiskey adds the building needs new up to date technology.
"Out boiler system went a year or so ago and so the new models and everything else don't necessarily work with the existing technology that's there. It's just inevitable those are going to have to be replaced to be able to make it all compatible."
The county is dedicating $10,350 towards purchasing the new equipment. The money will be coming out of the Facilities Capital - Library Reserve.
Once it's purchased, Comiskey says it will be installed as soon as possible.
