Tillsonburg's Library is undergoing some extensive upgrades and renovations. It's funded through the County as the library gets ready to enter the Oxford system. Among computer and play area upgrades is an over 400 square foot addition. It will go at the back of the building and will house local history books. Oxford's Library CEO Lisa Miettinen says it's going to be great for Tillsonburg library go-ers. "One of the advantages of being part of the county system is you have access to all of the books thoughout the system and we do have a van delivery service that will be going to Tillsonburg 4-days a week. The county system has over 200,000 books, the Tillsonburg Library will have access to all of those." The Library officially joins the county system on January 1st. However, it will be operating out of the Town Centre Mall from January 2nd, until the expanded Library is re-opened in the spring of 2013.
