New Director of Parks and Rec in Tillsonburg

Sunday, 16 September 2012 at 04:20

A new face will be sitting on Tillsonburg Council. Rick Cox comes from Minden Hills two and a half hours north east of Toronto to be the Director of Parks and Recreation. Cox is excited about joining a new team. "We have a brand new Strategic Master Plan that my colleagues have been working on over the last year or so. I'm really excited about implementing that over the next three years. There's a number of things about building relationships in the community, working on the revitalization of Lake Lisgar Memorial Park, those pieces are really what I'm looking at over the next three years," said Cox. His hometown is London, so he's also looking forward to being closer to family.
