This package is focused on guiding anyone interested in running for office through every step of the nomination process.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock made a package for anyone interested in running for office.
The city says the 2026 Municipal Election Nomination Package is now available. It helps guide anyone interested through every step of the nomination process.
The package includes eligibility criteria, key dates and deadlines, campaign expectations, financial rules, guidance on what candidates found helpful, and all the necessary forms needed to run for office.
For the 2026 election, voters have the opportunity to vote online. Eligible people will receive information in the mail inviting them to register to vote online if they prefer that method. In-person voting is still available.
The nomination period starts on May 1, with Woodstonians heading to the polls in October. Those interested in the package can find more information on it here.
