The Woodstock Library is now scheduling appointments for their Book a Librarian program.
WOODSTOCK - Everyone knows you can check out books, movies and CDs at the Woodstock Public Library, but now you can even reserve a librarian?
Manager of Public Services Darlene Pretty says Book a Librarian is a one on one service for people who need help with technology, research and even resume building.
"The idea is that you have the opportunity to work directly with a librarian for a half hour on any range of questions that people may have."
The free service is for all ages, but it is geared more towards teens, adults and seniors.
Pretty says it's replacing their tech tutorials, which used to help two or three patrons at a time.
"People really feel much more comfortable in a one on one situation just because everyone has a different level of knowledge and some people have felt in the past that the people around them knew more than what they did."
You can call 519-539-4801 to book your half hour appointment for Wednesday evenings after 6pm, or Friday and Saturday mornings between 10am and 12pm.
