The survey wants to know what Oxford parents are looking for in the future of child care.
WOODSTOCK - Local parents are given the option to fill out a survey to help shape the future of child care in Oxford County.
If your a parent or upcoming parent of a child between the ages 0-12 then you are given a chance to take a quick 10 minute survey on early child care programming, and the future of health care. Cara Vanklavern the Supervisor of Family and Children's Service's explains more on the survey.
"What we're trying to do is engage with parents and caregivers of children ages 0-12, or first time parents who are expecting a child. We want to hear about their needs in terms of child care experiences, early years programming and whether there are things that families would like to see."
Vanklavern also explains what's going to happen with the information from the survey.
"We are going to take all the information from the survey and bring it back to analyze, move forward with some focus groups, have conversations with our service providers. And then really look to develop a plan that can be responsive to families in Oxford County."
The survey can be accessed online here or you can do the survey through Oxford County Human Services or can be done at any EarlyON location's or Family Centre's.
