How will you celebrate the Victoria Day long weekend?
OXFORD - The Victoria Day long weekend is fast approaching.
The statutory holiday is always held on the last Monday before May 25th, to honour Queen Victoria's birthday which was actually May 24th.
There will be lots to do in Oxford County over the long weekend this year. The City of Woodstock will have it's Victoria Day parade on Monday, in addition to the Victoria Day festivities in Southside Park. It's also going to be a busy weekend in Thamesford, with the annual Calithumpian festival taking over the village.
