Premier Ford says the process ends "extremely soon."
ONTARIO - Renewing your licence plate will soon become a thing of the past in Ontario.
Premier Doug Ford announced yesterday that the province is working on eliminating the renewal process.
He said getting rid of the licence plate stickers was the first step and now the province is looking to make the licence plate renewal process completely automatic. Premier Ford also said we can expect this to happen "extremely soon."
The official announcement is expected sometime this week.
