You have until October 1st to nominate someone for the award.
OXFORD COUNTY - Twenty people in Oxford County will receive the King Charles III Coronation Medal.
MP Arpan Khanna made the announcement yesterday, adding that nominations are open until October 1st.
"Canadians from all walks of life who exemplify the spirit of service and commitment to the betterment of society will be recognized. The King's Coronation Medal is a unique opportunity to honour the exceptional individuals who have impacted our community and beyond. Let us celebrate their dedication and achievements together."
All of the nominees have to live in Oxford and must have made notable contributions locally and/or beyond. Posthumous nominations will only be accepted for those who were still alive on May 6th, 2023.
Nominations can be submitted online here and those who make the shortlist will be contacted.
