Police seized a quantity of cocaine and a quantity of methamphetamine from the accused when they found him at a home on Kent Street after learning he had an outstanding warrant. He is scheduled to appear in a Simcoe courtroom at a later date.
SIMCOE - A 50 year-old Norfolk County man has been charged with drug possession after Norfolk OPP responded to a report of a suspicious person at a home on Kent Street in Simcoe.
Officers arrived at the home on October 31st and learned the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant held by another police service.
OPP found a quantity of suspected cocaine and methamphetamine on the man after taking him into custody.
Matthew John Frederick Paterson has been charged with the following:
- Possession of Cocaine
- Possession of Methamphetamine
The accused is scheduled to appear in a Simcoe courtroom at a later date.
