63 year old man attacked while leaving a drive-thru
An unprovoked attack at a Tim Horton's drive-thru has left one man with serious facial injuries and another with charges.
OPP were called to the Norwich Tim Horton's around 8am Boxing Day after staff claimed a 63 year old man was leaving the drive-thru when he was pulled from his vehicle and assaulted by a man on foot.
The 63 year old was taken to hospital with serious facial injuries.
OPP say the suspect returned to the restaurant awhile later where he was arrested.
Facing a charge of aggravated assault is 33 year old Cornelius Bernardus VanWoerden of Norwich.
He is being held for a bail hearing tomorrow.
