NORWICH - A 36 year old from Norwich has been fined $750 for having a Halloween Party on Saturday night.
OPP were called to a large gathering on Quaker Street just before midnight Saturday. Officers found over 25 people at the home. This was in violation of the total number of people allowed to gather outdoors, according to amendments to the Reopening Ontario Act.
A 36-year-old was issued a Provincial Offence Notice, charged with Failing to Comply with a Continued Section 7.0.2. Order, contrary to the Reopening Ontario Act, 2020. This offence carries a set fine of $750.00 upon conviction.
