Fireworks, fun, and more are set to take place in Norwich, this Canada Day.
NORWICH - Canada Day in Norwich isn't something you're going to forget anytime soon.
The village is hosting a wide variety of Canada Day activities to enjoy from firefighter games for kids to fireworks at dusk behind the Norwich Community Centre.
Lynne DePlancke on the Canada Day committee, says there also be a Canada Day decorating contest.
"We have a Decorate Your House Contest for the residents of the township of Norwich. Each of the four wards will have a chance at winning the prize which is a family ice-cream party package which will be delivered to your house by our local volunteer fire department in a firetruck."

DePlancke that there be plenty of other types of fun too, with a decorating contest, firefighter games for kids, and fireworks.
"The Legion in Norwich is also hosting the Stray Cats Tribute band which will be live on their outdoor patio on Canada Day from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with free admission. We also have a Canada Day scavenger hunt going on in the downtown B.I.A. areas."
