PURPOSE: WATER OVER THE ROAD

* FLOODING ROADS REOPENED *

- KING ROAD (Township Rd 8 – Township Rd 9)

- TOWNSHIP ROAD 9 (Oxford Rd 22 – Blandford)

- TOWNSHIP RD 10 (King Rd – Hubbard Rd)

- HUBBARD ROAD (Township Rd 8 – Township Rd 9)

Crews were able to reopen some of the areas in the evening, but they are still working away on others. Director of Public Works Jim Borton says they are going to be working in the Horner Creek area today.

"We've had a few culverts actually washed out by the flow so we're hoping to have them repaired."

Borton has some tips for local drivers who plan on hitting the roads today.

"We've had a lot of rain and there's a lot of moisture in the ground. If you're on a gravel road the shoulders are going to be very soft so drive with caution."

Borton hopes to have everything back up and running by the weekend.
