The debate should begin at 7:00 p.m. and it should last about two hours.
EMBRO - The Oxford County Federation of Agriculture (OCFA) is about to host an all candidates meeting ahead of the federal election.
All eight candidates have been invited to tonight's debate, according to the Office Administrator June Nussey.
"I have confirmation of six of the eight that will be attending and our format for the evening we have a moderator and so questions can be sent in ahead of time, but we also accept questions the night of right from the floor."
It will start at 7:00 p.m. at the Embro Zorra Community Centre. The debate will be roughly two hours with pie served at the end.
Questions will be taken from the floor, and they can also be e-mailed to oxfordcountyag@gmail.com. in advance. Nussey expects the debate will highlight the uncertainty Canadians are facing economically.
"We expect, you know, the impact of tariffs, the trade disruptions, probably some things with interprovincial trade barriers and business risk management programs and the domestic food supply."
Rogers TV will be televising it for those who are unable to attend, and it will also be posted to the OCFA Facebook page.
