OXFORD COUNTY - It's a chance to learn more about Oxford County's history from the comfort of your own home.
The Oxford County Library is going to host a live stream on it's Facebook page on Saturday April 24th in honour of Oxford Local History Day.
Digital and Local History Library Technician Vicki Brenner says it will feature presentations from the Oxford County Historical Society, the Ingersoll Cheese Museum and others.
"These groups will submit content to us, little videos focusing on Oxford's past, and they will be scheduled throughout that day for anyone to enjoy. After that they're going to live on YouTube so we'll have that content available for people to watch anytime."
Brenner is looking forward to the presentation from the Heroes of Zorra.
"What they do is bring awareness to soldiers and service people over the last 100 years that originated from Zorra and served their country. They have photos and biographies so it's a really wonderful website."
You can like the Oxford County Library Facebook page in order to receive up to date notifications ahead of the event.
