Events are planned to celebrate the Woodstock Library all month long
WOODSTOCK - October is Library month and they are celebrating with a number of events at the Woodstock Public Library.
Their premier event is happening on October 21st with the International Festival of Authors happening at the Knox Presbyterian Church. Manager of Public Services Darlene Pretty tells Heart FM they will have four authors visiting the library for the event.
"We are very fortunate this year we have 4 authors who will be attending, we have Lauren B. Davis who will be reading from her new book Against A Darkening Sky and Farzana Doctor who will be reading from her new book All Inclusive."
Pretty says it is very exciting to have these authors come to Woodstock and there will be lot's of opportunity to ask questions and even have 1 on 1 conversations. Some of the other things they are offering including technology tutorials like computers for beginners and they are continuing their I-pad courses for anyone who would like some help with their new technology.
