The Province has identified 114 hot spot areas including one neighbourhood in Aylmer.
AYLMER - Only one area in Southwestern Public Health has been deemed a hot spot neighbourhood.
Anyone with the Aylmer a N5H 2R3 postal code will be first in line to get vaccinated locally. They are one of 114 hot spot neighbourhoods in the Province.
Yesterday the Province announced hot spot neighbourhoods can start booking vaccine appointments for all adults over 18.
This is not true though in the local health unit as they will only start with a 50 plus strategy and then move from there.
The Health Unit has started vaccinating congregate settings in that postal code region which includes the Ontario Police College. The Ontario Police College was the site of a major outbreak last month.
